I rarely take the time to review a business, but feel like I should in this case. We were at the E.R tonight for about 3 hours. Right away, a nurse swabbed my daughter's mouth to test for Strep, even though she didn't have a sore throat and there was no redness. The Dr. recommended an unecessary x-ray and labs. Why? Because it's a business and they wanted to make money for the hospital. We refused the x-ray and lab and he was fine with that. Then we had to wait 25 minutes just to leave, so we could go over health insurance paperwork and receive our discharge papers. That's ridiculous. The 2 stars are given because they were friendly and the facility was comfortable.

My son was born here and the maternity ward and nurses are FANTASTIC!

Possibly the worst hospital I have ever dealt with. Even the doctors in the ER recommend you go to a different hospital if you need to be admitted. My husband was diagnosed with a simple eye infection by their on call eye doctor - after suffering for a year - we went to Mayo Clinic and it was cancer of the eyelid. My husband also went in for pneumonia and was given a candida blood infection and nearly died. He was saved after 6 weeks at JOHNS Hopkins. I was told I had a broken leg after a fall from my horse and that I would need a pin. I got a second opinion from Mayo Clinic and was told I had been misdiagnosed and Mayo immediately removed my cast. My father went in for a heart issue and was put on dialysis - he died 6 months later.

We also go if my son is injured and the staff is always patient and kind with him.

I've never felt rushed or like I was being ridiculous for asking so many questions.

I live 45 minutes away from this hospital and will drive the distance for an emergency every time, skipping the local one. I was a chronic pain patient for two years and if I was ever in a horrible flare up, they treated me with respect and concern. I was never treated like a drug seeker. Of course, I always took my records with me which included my surgeries, journals etc. to give them context into my condition.

There is a husband and wife that work the ER and they are my favorite. Each taking the time to discuss treatment options and even comfort us when appropriate.

I have had three back surgeries at Fauquier Hospital. All three times I have had outstanding service. The staff are always friendly and professional. The food was pretty good. I have also had eye and surgery and 6 MRI's. I would recommend them to everyone.

I was warned by many people when I first moved here, but I couldn't believe it could be that bad. I no longer even use Doctors that are affiliated with or do surgery at Faquier. Beware!

Went to ER with severe chest pain was made to wait. Was told room was being cleaned FOR ME and 3 people were taken before. I was vomiting and in terrible pain. I would under no circumstances recommend going to this hospital unless visiting some poor soul who was sent to this death trap.
